Physical therapy assistant
Background:
I am a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant that is dedicated to improving the pain, function, and quality of life of my patients.
Education:
I have received my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science at William Paterson University. Then, I studied as Essex Community College to pursue my degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Experience:
I have worked as a PTA for over three years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. I have also accumulated over 10 years working as a physical therapy aide, personal trainer, and group fitness class instructor.
Practice Philosophy:
I believe in implementing evidence-based practice when treating my patients. I strongly believe in movement, mobility, and strength in improving pain and function. Patient education is also very important, in making meaningful changes that will yield long term results.
Passion:
My passions are fitness and health, especially coming from a personal training/exercise physiology background. Due to my passion, I am constantly striving to improve my knowledge to improve the quality of my care.
Personal Interests:
One of my personal interests is exercising, whether it be bodybuilding, powerlifting, or cross-training. I am also a big fan of mixed martial arts and watch UFC and boxing quite often. I also enjoy playing video games, watching TV shows, and hanging out with my close friends.
